Are you aware of any data points of chase taking negative action of those who downgrade their reserve soon after using the $300 credit. I paid my annual fee and used my $300 credit quickly last month and was planning on keeping Reserve for at least a few more months before product changing it down. Now, however, I'm thinking of pc-ing to preferred in order to be able to refer a preferred card and get the referral bonus while the 80k offer is around. I value my relationship with chase though and am somewhat worried that having used up the $300 travel credit they will view this as looting the account for a pro rated fee return.
