Tier 1
- No social gatherings of more than 6 from separate households outdoors or indoors
- Linked households still allowed
- Some businesses close (nightclubs, discos, dance halls etc.)
- Restricted hours for some businesses (pubs, cinemas etc.)
Tier 2
- No gatherings indoors of 2 or more from separate households inside or outside the area
- No social gatherings of more than 6 outdoors
- Linked households still allowed
- Some businesses close (nightclubs, discos, dance halls etc.)
- Restricted hours for some businesses (pubs, cinemas etc.)
Tier 3
- No gatherings indoors of 2 or more from separate households inside or outside the area
- Social gatherings of more than 6 outdoors allowed in a few limited places (outdoor sports grounds, grounds of castles etc.)
- No gatherings indoors of 2 or more from separate households in any other outdoor spaces
- Linked households still allowed
- Restricted hours for some businesses (pubs, cinemas etc.) and may close if not serving a table meal with the alcohol
- Some businesses close (nightclubs, discos, dance halls etc.)
