Yesterday I was on the Alaska Airlines web page and noticed that for some reason by account (and miles) were no longer valid. I called customer service and found out that since my account had had no activity for 3 years, it was disabled. Living in Georgia, I don't get much of a chance to fly Alaska as much as I did when I lived in Seattle..

Anyway, with no questions asked they reactivated my account and as a "welcome back" gave me back the miles that were in my account.
Most airlines that I am aware of this would have been, "oh, to bad, but your miles are gone"
