I started a thread over on the DL board a while ago about this... it is a terrible inconsistency within Skyteam! The official response I got from DL was that KE decides how many miles will be awarded in the SM program, so it was out of their control. I was looking to go LAX-SYD, and the cheapest was on KE, at 1300 RT, but that was in Q, if I wanted miles, I would have had to pay 3900!! Ridiculous!
