Too bad the Partner Desk also dropped 24-hour service (even though the website says differently). Absolutely crazy. Especially considering I use them for international reward trips, and contacting them while overseas may not be an option depending on the time.
Personally, if I was flying a partner domestically and my flights were in the early hours on the east coast, I'd
avoid using AS to book my flight and would rather book through AA/NW/CO/DL etc. At least I can get a hold of someone if needed to.
