I don't drink coffee. In fact, I hate everything about coffee. I hate the smell, I hate the way it looks, I hate the noise people make when they drink it. I am sure I woud hate the tast if I could get past the other things and actually try it.
I even hate looking at coffee makers . . .
For the past month, I have been staying at the Sheraton Bradley Airport hotel in Hartford, CT while I wait for my house to be ready. This hotel, like many hotels, has in-room coffee makers. This hotel, however, has it in the bathroom right next to the sink (literally inches from it). I find its proximity to the sink disgusting and it makes me very uncomfortable in the bathroom. I cannot even stand in front of the sink to brush my teeth.
Because my reaction to this is so bizzare, I have refrained from asking the hotel to remove the offending apparatus from the room. Should I have asked that it be removed, or is my freakish phobia so abnormal that I am best keeping it to myself?
I am not alone I see. I too hate the smell of it, but I don't go as far as you do.
