My wife and I both have Alaska credit cards (one of us to get the extra certificate), but with covid and not flying the extra cert isn't useful.

If we cancel one card, then will the certs earned for that canceled card be valid and stay in the Alaska account?

And if we want to use one of those certs, does it matter to Alaska who's Alaska credit card pays for the fare using the cert?
