He seemed nice enough but could not explain why the taxes jumped, and agreed that he could replicate the fact of a one way flight from KIX to LHR attracting just £30 in taxes.
Does anyone know why this is? Should I just try calling again?
Are you and/or BA phone agent confusing real taxes (paid to a government/regulatory authority) and carrier imposed surcharges (=100% airline profit)
