I'll miss it too, mostly for the non-political threads like the sports discussions and the random stuff.

OttoGraham's endorsement of closing OMNI is faintly ironic because OMNI's closing was primarily (IMO) linked to the pattern of posting large number of political discussions which lead to name-calling.
