Why I dislike this flight: I've done this flight a few times in the past year. YYZ-YVR-HNL-SYD or vice versa.

Notes:


The Unfortunate:
-Be prepared to go through security at HNL. This is my biggest gripe. It happens in the middle of the night, hence why it's not very nice. That being said, I try and avoid going the US customs like the plague, and I can't because of HNL.
-The stopover in HNL is.. annoying to say the least.
-It's hot in HNL, let's not kid ourselves. It's rare to be able to be properly dressed considering YYZ and SYD seems to have the opposite weather patterns.
-The lounge isn't the best in HNL.. actually, I find it very weak. The stairs don't help either.
-Make sure your seating is comfortable throughout your flight. If you don't like the seats you were assigned, get them fixed in YVR or SYD, not in HNL.

The Good:
-If you go on the 343, it's not that bad of a ride.
-The meals are decent. The wine selection isn't THAT bad..


From my perspective, I'm actually not gonna be flying this route anymore. I'd rather fly SYD-SFO-YYZ instead since it's shorter, and work is paying for a C/J class ticket.

If AC did YVR-SYD via the 345, I'd be all over this like a fat kid on a smartie, but I guess I'll just have to be a little more patient.
