Also, I just wanted to confirm the option to change the origin within 300 miles still applies if the itinerary has a BA marketed & operated flight and a BA codeshare flight (AA operated)? The BA flight is the one that is likely to be cancelled.
Is it is a 125 ticket (BA issued) ticket though? If it is, then the next question is "is it a Joint Business route?". If it is AA operated it probably is JB, but it may not be. If it is, then the final question is will JB "Back and Beyond" apply? This complication relates to the fact that BA no longer flies to HEL, and so that put it outside the 300 mile gateway option, except if it is because a BA marketed flight on a Joint Business AY flight.
Short version: it is unlikely to be allowed. You may be OK for CPH though, and in any case BA are running a fairly regular ARN service anyway and may increase services there.
