Those units are so noisy that you will probably shut it off all night, making filtering irrelevant..
just wanted to add,
when I stayed a few weeks ago, the front desk offered to bring an additional air purifier into the room beyond the AC. It was a blue-air model, quiet and definitely helped since the air that weekend was bouncing in orange/red zones. You just have to request it.
