Had two separate stays here, I actually liked it over Highland Inn.

First stay was in March, before the closure. We kept extending the stay till they told us that they were shutting the operation because of Covid.
Upgrade: booked studio and upgraded to suite without asking as globalist, while at highland we were 'upgraded' to a smallest ocean view room with nothing but a queen bed on separate stays.
Breakfast: a la carte and I actually liked it. One hot entree one coffee one juice. We went over a bit a few times and didn't get charged for overage.
Dinner: tried fish and some other dishes, burger was impressive.
Room: hilltop ranch with bathtub on the balcony. pretty spacious and cozy. view is valley view, which is good.
Activities: there is a golf and many hiking trails and classes on property.
The happy hour at the club was really good. You can have a few drinks and a quick bite at the terrace overlooking the expansive golf court.
The only cons to me is that there is tooooooo many kids running around, especially at the smore event.

Second stay was recent, however my stay was cut short because of the fire nearby - the property had to halt operation after the evacuation warning was issued.
Upgrade: got a suite without asking again as globalist.
Breakfast menu was shorter, which is understandable.
Many activity were suspended.
