I find that most of the flights over the north atlantic, the pilot switches ch9 to something else because there is little to no communications going on. When it is on, it lulls me to sleep anyway. When I wake up, there is the London controllers either directing us into Heathrow or over the UK into Germany.

What a nice thing to have and a great way to feel "at home" with UA!
