Using ecredits for Delta Vacation Packages?

I currently have a lot of money tied up on Delta e-credits and we are looking at a Dominican Republic holiday either later this year or early next year. The vacation package is less expensive than paying DL for tickets and then buying a hotel separately. I'd really rather use those ecredits than give DL "more" cash Anyone ever tried this? I am 99.9% sure you can't do it online so I will have to call, but figured I would ask before I spend a few hours on the phone trying to do this!

Thanks!

So an online search found this info which looks promising. If we decide to do this I will post the result for future use since I saw a lot of 'how can I use ecredit" questions when searching here.
Note: Some vacation types are not available to book online. If your plans include any of the following scenarios or other special needs, please contact your travel agent or call us at 1-800-800-1504.
  • Multiple hotel rooms or partial stays
  • An escorted tour
  • More than 1 destination
  • Handicap or other special needs requests
  • Children under the age of 2
  • Parties of 6 or more
  • Previously issued Delta Vacations air tickets
  • Delta Air Lines-issued vouchers
In addition, if you are using a previously issued Delta Vacations air ticket, Delta-issued vouchers or certificates, such as Transportation Credit Voucher (TCV), Electronic Credit Voucher(ECV/E-TCV), Miscellaneous Charge Order (MCO), or Electronic Denied Compensation Credit, please contact your travel agent or call Delta Vacations at 1-800-800-1504.
