Observations this week: stores with “old” terminals (it has two read heads and you hold the card vertical) I was able to hit “cancel”on my mcGC as last of four cards.

New terminal you hold the card flat - I thought I’ve done MCGC before, but couldn’t this week. “cancel” cancels payment and change payment button showed but couldn’t click it. Any special techniques?

had a bunch of MC from od two weeks ago, got lucky with a manager who typed the amount after. Only about 1 in 20 clerks here do it that way and I don’t feel like “training” them, it feels like it might not be wise.
