Did you see the Tom Bihn Design Lab Shadow Guide 23 and 33 backpack?

You might also prefer Brown Buffalo or other craft bag makers? https://www.carryology.com/liking/br...ckpack-brands/

I prefer to think of it as not every bag is for me. Most Tom Bihn items are thought out, tested, and tweaked but sometimes a niche that I don't use very often, not suitable for my smaller stature, or not how I prefer to carry/access things. I rate "design" on usability before aesthetics. I admire sleek urban bags but I'm not exactly a minimalist carry person and Tom Bihn has mastered the Tardis feature quite well. That's not to say your favorite Bihn Bag would be one I'd call my favorite - there are lots of Aeronaut 45L fans but I only use my Aeronaut 30L in very specific use cases. The aesthetics aren't for everyone or for all occasions but I find it generally cohesive - you're not likely to mistake it for Cotopaxi, Topo, or Aer.
