Hi all,

I need to travel to the US with my wife to stay with her unwell family.

We want to take advantage of the LUX departures in business. The return leg has a connection in LHR which is where we live so we would want to end our flight there and just go home.

Does anyone know the latest experience with regards to checked baggage? How easy is it to request that bags be picked up at LHR?

I know we could just take carryon however we are staying for a month so the checked bags would be needed.
