Malindo offerings are pretty solid for the price paid if you find a bargain fare. Certainly used it out of KUL quite a few times.

Must be the new promo fare that doesn't include lounge access (it did just over a year ago - paid less for a r/t in BC than the cheapest economy fare would in Canada for flights of roughly equal distance). We used the credit at the coffee shop instead.

Don't remember if there was beer but the wine was pretty foul last year (flying KUL-BKK-KUL).
