Right on cue, today’s BA490 has just landed in AGP. Let’s see whether the typical plan of offloading and bussing is replaced by a ‘wait and re-fly’, which would avoid a quarantine requirement.
According to FlightRadar 24. the return BA491 has been cancelled. This would suggest that the aircraft will return to London empty (or with those passengers that do not want to offload in Spain).
Not sure what would happen if a passenger demanded to be taken back to London? Could be messy for BA to quote policies and procedures given how understanding passengers are expected to be.
