As are so many, caught in Covid. Long story, but 40,000 foot view - made business class reservations (about $8k) through Delta for 2. Reservations were for nonstop between IAH and CDG leaving this October 1st. On July 13th, went and checked on Delta if any changes to flights. Air France had canceled our October 1st flights and arbitrarily moved us to September 30th. We called Delta, said unable and cancelled reservations and requested deposit back to our AMEX. We received Delta's REFUND REQUEST CONFIRMATION email. I have been calling Delta about every 3 to 4 weeks checking on status. They always put me on hold to check with Air France. Every time, they said backlogged but up to now - July 10th cancellations and refund request.

QUESTIONS..............Is this a normal delay considering pandemic? Anything I should be doing to get them to expedite or secure my refund request?
