Very happy

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked queen room, received queen room. I don’t think there are any better. If there are, they were not on sale.

How are the rooms?
Very comfortable and well appointed, a little small. Room had a balcony, safe, mini fridge (just water for free), small local snacks left in room with some pots of honey. Smart TV linked to speakers in bathroom for streaming music, etc. Bed very comfortable. Rainfall shower and separate handheld unit. Molton Brown toiletries. Air-con works really well with high degree of user control.

How is the exec. lounge?

What was good and what was bad?

Good:

• Staff. Simply outstanding service. Friendly, diligent and professional. Everything done without hassle and with a smile. Staff seemed genuinely pleased to be there.
• Well run, everything worked well and was smoothly executed.
• Modern. The hotel only opened in July 2020.
• Food and drink was delicious. Food was very nicely presented, well cooked and tasted great. Drinks the same including lots of cocktail options, I tried lots and they were all great too.
• Breakfast would normally be buffet for cold, then choice of hot option from menu, cooked to order. Covid means the buffet options are brought to you, but that made it better in my view. Everything we ate was really nice.
• Rooftop pool and bar

Bad:

• pool is small, very small
• no option for upgrade as all rooms seem very similar

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?

€100 per night for 2 people, including breakfast. Absolutely will return, really fantastic hotel, highly recommend.


NB: It’s an adults only hotel. Not sure how I feel about that.
