Avoid Hertz at HOU. Due to Hertz at IAH airport putting Ford Fusion and Nissan Rogue's on PC, I decided to give HOU a shot.

Day of Sept 15 on Tuesday afternoon as soon as I got on the airport bus, I was told by the driver that there is a 1 hour wait for cars. When I arrived, I saw a bunch of people waiting before me. After, waiting for about 45 min, I was handed a key to a 2020 Mazda CX 5 which wasn't bad with only 6k miles. It seemed to have all safety tech like blind spot, lane keep etc and interior seemed nice. I saw people before me leave in Ford Escape, Chevy Malibu etc

Return time, the whole HOU rental car area was flooded and police were blocking the road. I had to change my flight to IAH airport for same day and returned the car to IAH Hertz which wasn't flooded. I will be avoiding this airport for now due to 1) this location having a big wait time for cars on a Tuesday, I can understand on Mondays (lot of people have this problem, check google reviews) 2) Hobby area easily flooding during rain
