I don't think you'd find many people that would be able to argue DL is offering a better premium soft product than UA (or honestly anyone) at the moment. I would say UA's offering plants them firmly between AA and DL at the moment with AA offering the most expansive options including premium transcon and DL offering virtually nothing. The addition of sandwiches to standard flights on UA is nice, but seems less comprehensive than AA's offerings which don't have the caveat of having to originate from a hub/'catering city".
