I normally book Marriott hotels directly through Marriott or travel agencies whose reservations are eligible for Bonvoy points. However I’m not going to make any elite status this year and I found a price on Hotwire that was less than half the published rate for a Courtyard in NYC.

But I’m not able to find the booking on Marriott’s website. I’ve used the hotel confirmation number, not the Hotwire confirmation number.

Is this typical with Hotwire bookings for Marriott, or should I be concerned about my reservation?

Edit: I think I used a hotel confirmation number? It’s unclear from the confirmation email from Hotwire.
