You can evaluate the need for a quarantine after travelling abroad with the help of the traffic light model. Traffic lights also help to evaluate the risk of a coronavirus infection linked with foreign travel.
If you arrive in Finland from a country which is green in the traffic light model, you do not need to self-quarantine. Quarantining is not necessary even if you travel by way of a red or grey country.
If you arrive in Finland from a country that is red or grey in the traffic light model, we recommend a 14-day self-quarantine. Quarantining is recommended even if you transit through a green country on your return trip to Finland.
