When to pay the balance of a BA holiday?
I booked a holiday (flight + car) on BA from LHR to Cape Town back in April originally intending to depart on 11th November. At the time I paid only a deposit and MMB says the balance is due by 21st October. A couple of weeks ago, due to the uncertainty of SA opening their borders, the escalating infection rate here and personal circumstances we changed the booking to depart on 3rd February next year. Looking at MMB today, I can see that the balance of our holiday is still noted as being required by 21st October 2020. My question is: Is this still the case? Do I still need to pay the balance by 21st October for a holiday that is now going to take place in 4 months time? Any clarification from a BA point of view would be much appreciated. Didn't want to try and ring their phone line for such a question.
