The HLE at the Washington Hilton (northwest Connecticut Ave. in DC) has closed. According to the hotel security guard, the closure is permanent. This leaves very few full-service Hertz options in Washington DC outside of the airports. Quite a hassle.
Yes, it looks like the following HLEs based in hotels in the DC area have closed recently as well:
Marriott at Dulles Airport - 45020 Aviation Drive
Renaissance Hotel - 999 9th Street Northwest
Omni Shoreham - 2500 Calvert Street Northwest
The following DC-area HLE locations remain open:
Union Station - 99 H Street North East
Capital One Arena - 601 F Street Northwest
