Well, I will concede that the pilots are going to have to take a pay cut. However, I don't blame them for trying to protect their interests as much as they can. Many people here have distrust of Delta's management, I am sure the pilots do as well. The pilots have offered a pay cut of about $700M while the company wants $1B, it's not like that is that far apart. I am sure they will be able to come to middle ground, I hope without Chap 11 but if not, they will then. But if they could care less, they wouldn't even have offered the $700M. I DO want the pilots for the airline I choose to fly to make the most money on the market but I admit, they can pay a lot less and still be the most.
