I'd chalk this up to the poor functionality of Barclay's business cards. The web site is remarkably primitive, they take excessive time to receive bill payments from our bank, etc. I wouldn't say those are unethical, just sloppy or even incompetent.

We get paper statements for everything, and pay all bills through our primary bank's bill pay service. However, the Barclay Business Aviator is an outlier in the excessive amount of time it takes for payments to be received. We've been late twice because the paper statement does not allow for sufficient time to do a bill pay. We created a calendar even in our laptop calendar program that reminds us in sufficient time to log in, check the balance for the last statement, and initiate a bill pay so that there is enough time to not be late. (We prefer to remain in control of our finances, and not allow any entity to do automatic payments of any sort.)
