The original lockdown in Wales included travel restrictions of 5 miles from home though it had to be a guideline as some people had to travel more than 5 miles to get to the nearest shop. The restrictions were only lifted on 6 July. I’m not sure if people in Wales were caught trying to leave Wales but people travelling to Wales from England were certainly stopped on popular routes into Wales such as the A55 near Chester.
