I am getting an impression that Domain Contender is the registrar, not the domain owner. According to
http://www.webhosting.info/registrar...NCONTENDER.COM , their are mid-size registrar with about 60,000 domains registered through them.
According to
http://noldc.com/ , Noldc Inc is a domain alternative ID service, which means that the actual owner of the domain doesn't want his info to be shown in WHOIS and uses NOLDC instead.
Your best bet is to contact NOLDC, explain your case and see if they will put you in touch with the new owner of the domain.
