Canadian travelling to Netherlands via US. Confused; could use some help.

Hey guys,

I am a Canadian citizen (residing in Canada) and am planning a trip to Amsterdam later this year. For a few reasons out of my control, I’ll be in DFW area for 4 days before my Amsterdam flight so it only makes sense for me to catch the DFW-AMS on AA.

I was wondering if anyone can shed any light on the whole scene as US travellers are still not allowed in Netherlands but in my case, it’s just a 4 day transit and Canadians can enter Netherlands without any issues.

Would I have any issues entering Netherlands based on the fact I’m coming from US? Has anyone had any experience like this?

I have reached out to the Consulate but haven’t heard anything yet.

Thanks in advance for any info or tips you can share.
