This will be interesting to see. Some people, like the aib link, thought this could still be LR since LRs are also NEO. I think that's unlikely given that the first LR isn't supposed to come until Q1. In the Q2 earnings call, they still said all the deliveries until end of the year are going to be all core, so this is a change. I think they are seeing mint market recover ahead of all-core markets and switching the final NEO delivery this year from all-core to mint. If the 5 non-LR deliveries next year are also mint, that hopefully will provide enough aircraft to support the additional mint flights out of EWR and LAX.
