What about SA Citizens returning from these countries / repatriating to South Africa? What if the SA Citizen currently trapped in USA wishes to repatriate via connection through Europe.

Maybe I missed something earlier. But, this remains an open question for me.

I suppose I could buy a RT ticket to the Middle East (or India...). Then a COVID test in and a separate RT from Middle East to SA. Since my second RT ticket originated in the Middle East, how would SA know I came from the USA? Of course, that assumes the transfer country would accept me arriving from the USA.
