I don't know what Delta's top hourly pay scale is for pilots but the bigger the plane the bigger the hourly pay meaning the 777 Captains make the most money BUT my friend - remember he NOT even a Captain but rather just a First Officer - says that when he works on Green Slip status he makes the better part of $300/hr. That being said the FAA has mandated absolute maximums for the #'s of hours that pilots can fly in certain periods of time, off the top of my head I don't recall what it is but to the best of my recollection it is slightly over 100 hours in a given month.
