All the local bloggers are raving about this property. Cool corner rooms and up (Fantastic, Marvelous, Wow and E-Wow suites) have been averaging 90% occupancy over all days of the week (and 100% on weekends)...the line for check in was dozens deep at 3pm last Saturday, wrapping around the entire lobby area.

Thanks to the generous status match I jumped on the bandwagon (having always sided towards legacy-SPG ) and booked myself in a Marvelous Suite (which is the single most popular/difficult to book hotel suite across all 5* hotels in HK nowadays!) for two nights. Amazing bathroom. The bedroom/living area I thought was a bit sterile and plain and somewhat dated, some switches didn't work. The breakfast buffet at KITCHEN, despite all the negative reviews by the local bloggers, I thought was quite good actually - by no means fine dining / gourmet but the selection was satisfying.

The hotel offers luggage delivery to the RC as many people tie these two hotels together for their staycations. I moved over to the RC and got upgraded to a Deluxe Harbourview Suite (a pleasant surprise) but comparing mid-tier suites across these properties, I actually liked the layout (and definitely the bathroom) of W HK's Marvelous Suite a lot more!
