No one knows when or if the Flex card will have referrals

Chase doesn't support cross product referrals like Amex -- you can do it in a limited capacity within some Chase card families (Southwest/United)
Link above shows:
Southwest cards "You can get 10,000 bonus points for each friend who gets any participating Southwest Rapid Rewards Credit Card."
United cards "You can get 10,000 bonus miles for each friend who gets any participating United Mileage Plus Card."

Referral bonus is usually pending within 1-3 weeks then available for use when next statement generates -- CFU/CSP is like that (not sure about United but guessing its similar)
