I don't know about that. I snagged Dublin to Denver and return for €287 the other day for an end of February departure, early March return. That is scandalously cheap for an economy class flight. I'm heading over on AA, and as Gold am automatically put into the Main Cabin Extra seats for free so all is well there.

The reason I booked is that the BA guarantee lasts for bookings up to 30 September. If the USA does not open up by travel time, I can swap it for a voucher. Being BA, it's a voucher I'll use, as opposed to any other airline where I'd be hard pressed to use their voucher.

For me, there is no downside and I'd rather lock in the pricing now, as it will only go up, in my opinion.
