Weatherboy has highlighted the need for scientific, data-driven policy and pointed out the lack of such currently.
This is clearly relevant to the topic of this thread (When will Hawaii re-open for tourism?).
If the leadership of the Islands cannot use or is unable to use data driven approaches, it will continue to impact the potential re-opening of Hawaii to tourist activity.
