Obviously if you are only able to accumulate 20 Qualifying Nights in a year, each of those is worth less than if you are able to accumulate 60 and earn Globalist status.

Here's my very rough math:

For someone that hits exactly 60 Qualifying Nights in a year, I would value each night credit around $20. I conservatively value attaining Globalist status at $1200, though some bloggers love to value it much higher. I count this through the Milestone Rewards of 1 Cat 4 Free Night ($200), 1 Cat 7 Free Night ($300), $100 gift card PLUS benefits of Globalist Status ($600) mainly for breakfast/Club access.

If you aren't earning Globalist status, then I don't think night credits have much value. The only Milestone Rewards that I think have much value are the 30 for a Category 4 free night and the $100 gift card at 40 nights. Club Lounge Access certificates and Suite Upgrades are nice but I don't put much of a monetary value on them. Maybe $20 for a Club Lounge Access certificate. Suite Upgrades are fun, but don't really equate to a monetary value for me. Plus they only kick in at 50 Qualifying Nights, and at that point, you're probably going to go for Globalist anyway.

Therefore, I'd value 20 nights at $40 (or $2 per Qualifying Night), I'd value 30 nights at $300 (or $10 per Qualifying Night), and I'd value 40 nights at $400 (or $10 per Qualifying Night).

What do you all think of that math? Do you think $20 value on Qualifying Night credits is too high? Too low?

I feel like $20 is exceedingly low, even now if you’re factoring hitting a minimum of 60 nights.

Here’s my valuation -

I’m already a Globalist, so I’m basing it on requalifying with 60 nights.

- Complimentary Suite Upgrades for 30 Of those 60 Nights (very conservatively $40/Night Value) = $1,200

- Complimentary 2 Waters Per Day for 60 Nights Stayed (Let’s say $1 a Bottle, though most properties charge $4 for those same ones given to Discoverists and up). = $120

Premium Internet - Let’s assume $0 because you get internet free anyways, not going to add extra value for premium.

Cat 1-4 Certificate - (Very Conservatively) - $150

Cat 1-7 Certificate - (Very Conservatively) - $500 (There’s a huge issue with a $300 valuation $500 is a fair and honest valuation, though it’s worth much more I would use it at PH Sydney or Ventana personally each regularly over $1,000).

(4) Suite Upgrade Awards - (Very Conservatively) $200 each = $800

Club Access Awards - $0

$100 Hyatt Gift Card (40 Night Milestone) - $100

Globalist Parking - (Conservatively) - $250 (5 Nights @ $50 saved per night via award stays).

Globalist Breakfast/Lounge Access over 60 Nights - (I stay with 2 Adults and 1 Child on 100% of stays so I’d say $20 per adult and $10 per child conservatively) $50/Night x 60 Nights = $3,000.

4pm Late Checkout = $600 ($10/Night very conservatively over 60 nights).

This is my very conservative valuation not even factoring the 3x offers attained along the way or rebate stays as would be currently.

Total - $6,720 per year valuation overall so divide that by 60 to get the individual night credits value = $112 per night.

To each their own, but this would be my personal valuation, and again a pretty conservative one at that.
