A good amount of upgrades clearing into DL One LAX-JFK (despite no seats showing bookable)....seems like they’re only allowing booking to 50% of the cabin but then at the gate processing upgrades to 75% of the cabin or 7 or so seats empty.

I wasn’t traveling but as reported by my friend who was flying.
