Just completed a fabulous stay here. Paid 25,000 points per night which I might possibly consider one of my best redemptions ever.
I’m a Titanium and I was upgraded to a corner suite, though I did have to ask politely on arrival if a suite was available. It’s definitely worth it.
Aesthetically the rooms are beautiful. Throw rugs, nice furniture. I would honestly decorate my home this way. The views of the Aegean are beautiful. Pictures don’t do it justice.
Some things are closed because of COVID, but you could order a drink anywhere and food was available all day. The breakfast (Free for titaniums) was high quality, and typical of what one would expect in Turkey. The menomen was the best I had in all of Turkey. Pools are open. They set up chairs for you on the beach, and you push a button whenever you need service. I can’t stress enough how nice of a time I had here.
THE WIND. It’s bad. It’s windy AF, but kind of kept you from sweating too much. When laying at the beach I actually grew to like the wind.
Drink prices weren’t bad. Efes was TLY 35 (€4) cocktails were TLY 60 (€7,50). Bottles of wine were less than €30.
Taxi to Alaçati was TLY 50 and it was such a lovely town for dinner every night. Concierge will call you a taxi, but you can catch one on the main road easily. Dolmus run to Çesme and Alaçati. They are white/teal and come quite often. Do note that taxi charges are nearly double what they are in Istsnbul, and having a car in Çesme isn’t a bad idea.
In the era of COVID this is a hidden gem. I was so sad to leave Reges.
