Frankly, I’d avoid Acapulco and visit Cancún (or nearby Isla Mujeres or the Costa Maya). The state of Guerrero is a bit on the unstable side, and there have been numerous heath issues over the decades in Acapulco, from untreated sewerage discharged into the ocean to the authorities deliberately obfuscating health and safety issues.
