With the exception of the Armada, generally the large SUV's are decently well equipped. With Dollar you're correct - they're owned by Hertz and the older vehicles are assigned to Dollar. That being said, the last large SUV I rented from Hertz was a fully loaded Yukon XL with 50k on it... aside from a few dings and scratches, it was clean and enjoyable to drive.
