In general, National typically has an above-average fleet. Their prices also tend to be higher than other companies. It often depends on luck of the draw based on when you arrive, what is available, and/or what you get assigned. Being nice to the agents often helps because if you are not happy with what is available or you are assigned, you can ask to see if they have anything else. A smile and some kind words can go a long way.
thanks for that. I actually have a reservation through you now with Dollar, which i hear is the Hertz old stuff...yikes. In general, what is a realistic expectation as far as model year, miles, and condition for a car like a suburban? And are these cars typically no frill, bone stock.
