I for one will miss WW. He wasn’t the most liked and maybe didn’t have the warmest personality (but I can’t say as I never met him) but he did a good job. He saved Aer Lingus after 9/11 and did the same at BA. He ensured BA was in a good position to survive and had a rigorous balance sheet. I would trust him to get BA/IAG through COVID-19.

I’m not so sure about Luis Gallego. Iberia are still running an abysmal COVID food service which doesn’t inspire me. Does anyone know where he will be based? Will he stay in Madrid and meetings move there (as I know WW was based at Waterside)?

I wonder who will do the rounds on BBC/Sky when there’s news at IAG? It’s always been WW but I can’t see LG doing it. Maybe Cruz will start appearing more, but who knows.
