The normal 40 minute island commute has therefore been replaced with a 24hr flight via Miami.
Liat stranded us at Grenada when they had cancelled the flight number we were on. The newly timetabled flight was much later and subsequently delayed. As a result we missed the BA flight from Barbados which was unfortunate. We asked when flying to Grenada if the return flight was okay and were told it was still running. Two weeks later it wasn't and more than a few of us, locals and tourists alike were caught out. We ended up spending another 24hrs in Grenada and going back via Trinidad on BWI.
