I used to loathe coffee - didn't mind too much the smell of a fresh grind but anything else... yuck...

...then I started drinking Starbucks mocha frappuccino... and within a year I'd bought an espresso machine. It is an acquired taste though.

Why not say to the hotel that since you don't intend to use the coffee machine, you'd appreciate the extra space by the sink for toiletries, so could they move the machine out of your room. I would if it bothered me so much
