I was able to get in the AS lounge using PP over the weekend. The lounge wasn't crowded at all. Probably less than 10 other guests there at the time.

They had a food station set up (boxed salads/soup/packaged snacks). It was cordoned off, but you just tell the friendly lounge attendants what you want and they retrieve the items and hand them to you.
